It is a fact that Samuel Oshana has had a phenomenal career in the state of Florida, and he loves most things abut the state. However, when it comes to sports, his heart will always beat hardest for the sports teams in his beloved hometown of Boston, Massachusetts. IN particular, Sam is devoted to the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball (NBA) . It’s not at all difficult to be a Celtics fan, since the Celtics have won the most championships in NBA history, including an incredible string of 8 championships in a row, and 11 out of 13 in roughly the same span in the 1950s and 1960s. In all, they have won 17 championships over about 60 years.

Samuel Oshana also has a strong fondness for the New England Patriots, who were originally the Boston Patriots, a charter team in the upstart American Football League. Football fans in the city saw the Patriots as a great means to get professional football back in the city. The AFL was so successful, they merged with the older NFL in 1970, t became the American Football Conference of the NFL. In 1971, the team moved out of Boston and started playing in Foxborough, Massachusetts, and became the New England Patriots, who are now the most successful team in the NFL over the past 20 years.
